Viking River Cruise, Our Journey Ends in the Glorious City of Prague
The last stop on our magnificent "Cities of Light" Viking River Cruise was the enchanting medieval city of Prague. Relatively unscathed by the ravages of WWII, Prague is beloved as a magical city where you can go back in time and lose yourself in a medieval world along the shores of the Vltava River. Enjoy a moment of awe when you enter the square in Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This main square houses the most dramatic gathering of centuries-old structures, including the Astronomical Clock in the Old Town Tower. It has been ticking since 1410, making it the oldest still-functioning astronomical clock in the world. The pedestrian-only Charles Bridge leads you to the enchanting heart of Prague, where you will lose yourself in its splendor.
