MOLOKAI
Our UnCruise adventure begins on the remote and ruggedly beautiful island of Molokai. Only 7,000 residents make their home on this 260-square-mile island, and it is here that you will find the spirit of old Hawaii.
Molokai is affectionately referred to as the "friendly" isle and you feel this vibe as soon as you set foot on its soil. Highlights of our two days on the island included a trip to a 10-acre plumeria farm (the blossom from which Hawaiian leis are made); a tour of Molokai’s beautiful coastline in route to the Halawa Valley (where we took part in a moving ancient Hawaiian ritual and a demonstration of how to make the island’s food staple poi); and an authentic luau at the Molokai Museum and Cultural Center.
