Catalina Island: Visited Hotels

We chose the Pavilion Hotel http://www.visitcatalinaisland.com/) and the Aurora Hotel & Spa ( http://www.AuroraCatalina.com) for our 3-night, 4-day sojourn in Avalon. Each hotel had its own unique attraction. The Pavilion Hotel, located directly on the harbor, offered garden accommodations, a lavish breakfast buffet and happy hour wines/beer and hors d'oeuvres. The Aurora Hotel & Spa, further up on the hill above Avalon's main street, offered a urban chic ambiance that included a breakfast buffet, in-house spa, and a rooftop sun deck that commands a splendid view over Avalon Harbor ( http://www.AuroraCatalina.com).
