Waldspirale Darmstadt

Designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, this whimsical, residential building complex was completed in Darmstadt in 2000. The windows of the Waldspirale (forest spiral), which number over 1000, are all unique, with no two windows being the same.
