Erbach, nestled in the hills of the Odenwald forest, is a picturesque town noted for its Medieval town center as well as its Castle, built in the 12th Century. Today the castle is a museum that invites visitors to marvel at the different rooms with their many exhibits. Visitors can also enjoy a visit to the German Ivory Museum, for which the town is famous. It also boasts the region's oldest pottery factory.
