Cuisine-Dinner at Bluewater Grill, Santa Barbara

We had just one night to dine in glorious Santa Barbara before taking off the next morning on the next leg of our trip, our Amtrak Coast Starlight ride to Oakland. We chose to dine at Santa Barbara’s latest seafood restaurant, Bluewater Grill, which opened its doors in 2018 for lunch, dinner and small plates. Adjacent to the buzzy Funk Zone, the restaurant is located in a renovated lighthouse-shaped building with a view on the oceanfront and Stearns Wharf. The delicious seafood, which you see pictured here, was sourced by local fishermen, as the restaurant follows strict sustainability standards. Bluewatergrill.com
