Founded in 1846 by German immigrants, the town of Fredericksburg still maintains its Germanic heritage to this day, as evidenced by its historic architecture. Fredericksburg is also famous as home of the National Museum of the Pacific War, as well as the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historic Park.
