Did you know that the Gentlemen's Pool House, located in Bath County just a short drive from the Garth Newel Center, is the oldest spa structure in the United States? Fed by a natural mineral spring, this octoganal wood building was built in 1761 and was a favorite spot for Thomas Jefferson to "take the waters."
